Art can be defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination in a visual form such as paintings, prints or sculptures. In this book, you will discover blown glass rondels that have been etched and woodblock prints and vases with a series of different flowers and women. For me, an essential factor in creating art is creating beauty!

Beauty is a creation that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight! The word beauty itself comes from the Latin word “bellus,” which means beautiful or fine. We know that it is challenging to judge beauty objectively because what one person may find beautiful might not appeal to another person at all. As an artist, when I create, I am not at all interested in creating something ugly or shocking. I am interested in uplifting and inspiring people!
I believe that if you look for beauty, you will find beauty! If you search for what is beautiful, you will discover it! If you focus on ugliness and divisiveness, you will surely find that. Life is as you create it, imagine it and perceive it, and it will never be any other way.
I also believe in abundance! I do not subscribe to the theory of scarcity. This is why I have created a great number of glass rondels loaded with flowers and butterflies, glass vases covered with flowers and woodblock prints exploding with 24 different types of flowers found here on planet Earth. This planet is certainly filled with abundance—billions of grains of sand on the beaches, endless waves, multi-millions of flowers and trees, countless sparkling stars. You just have to look. This is what I am asking you to do! LOOK!!
I believe you can choose to be “cause” over your life. You do not ever have to choose to be a victim. It is your choice! You make this choice every day, just as you choose to see the beauty in this game of life. When I wake up every morning, before I get out of bed, I choose to be grateful that there is so much beauty surrounding us! I am also grateful for every relationship that I have had and currently have. One friend surprised me by calling me “Divine.” Another friend told me that my art “opened a portal to serenity that he had never seen before.” One amazing person even told me that he will be my friend for all eternity!! I believe that within each of us, we have the ability to create beautiful relationships!
